Rob Harley's musical journey began in his teens and through his twenties as the lead singer for various Essex-based original alternative and heavy rock bands, such as Kelp, Mr. Red, and The Horn. It was here that he cultivated his dynamic vocal power and stage presence. 

 

Over time, Rob’s musical tastes have shifted towards melodic and harmony-rich sounds. This evolution inspired him to pick up the guitar and create several Suffolk-based groups, where he explored a wide range of genres. 

 

Currently, Rob is an active performer with multiple projects, including The Flaming Sons and The Romford Band (also featuring Paul Reeves), whilst he also loves taking center stage as the lead vocalist for California Dreaming.
